Maddie is a corporate associate and represents public and private companies in connection with transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and general corporate matters. Maddie also advises clients regarding corporate governance and SEC compliance and disclosure, including Exchange Act reporting.
Prior to joining Hilgers, Maddie practiced as a corporate associate at Baker Botts L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas.
Maddie earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the Texas A&M University School of Law. While attending law school, she was a member of the Journal of Property Law Publication, a teaching assistant in legal writing and research, a research assistant for Professor Malinda Seymore, and she was selected as a Public Service Interest Fellow. Maddie also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District during the spring semester of her second year.
